Hand knotted rugs from India are woven by master craftsmen of India. These rugs are woven using mostly Persian knots with combination of traditional Persian designs and patterns mixed with some modern and contemporary designs.

1- Indo-Persia:Rugs of this category are produced with Persian knots and traditional Persian designs in the following qualities: A- 9/9 Hard Back B- 11/11 Loose Back C- 14/14 Hard Twist Yarn D- 14/14 Handspun Yard
2- Modern Chobi:This quality comprises a range of modern and chobi look.
3- Indo Nepali:Although Hand-Knotted, the weaving techniques is different from Persian knot and is similar to Nepali weave. The quality varies from 80 to 140 lines, and woolen yarn are handspun or machine spun.
This quality is comparatively low end to medium hand woven rugs. The yarns are machine spun or hand spun depending on the look and finishing required. Design range could be traditional Persian, modern & contemporary.
